Hi,
I am using the Free Edition of EclipseUML. I have a question regarding a feature in the plug-in.

My Scenario:
In a class diagram, when I try to create an "Association with Composition at the 2nd Navigation end, No navigation at the 1st Navigation end", it adds the associated class as an attribute. I already have the attribute defined in the class. Why is it adding the attribute again? Also, how can I turn off this feature? Why is it not reverse engineering this relation?

If I use dependency feature, it shows up as <>, but I want to use an "Association" relation here.

Please let me know as how to use this feature without duplicating the attribute.

I appreciate your help.
Here are my configuration settings.
Operating system version: Windows 2000
Eclipse version: 3.0
GEF version: 3.0.0
EclipseUML version: 2.0.0 ( Free Edition )

Thanks,
Sanjay

I'm facing pretty much exactly the same problem (although with the Studio Edition).
I dislike the way EclipseUML creates members for associations (I fell I have to little control about the way it is done) therefore I first created my classes and later created a class diagram.

But the reverse engineering doesn't create any associations and when I try to create one manually, I can't, because EclipseUML tells me, that there is already a member with that name. Of course there is one but how can I make Eclipse to show the according association in my class diagram?

Any help appreciated!

Uli
