I am lucky I back up my code. I am trying to use Omondo (the eclipseUML plugin) and am running into an issue. For the lack of recreating class diagrams for code that I have already written, I am "drag and dropping" them into the UML window, that I may create new classes with generalizations to the old. However, since there is NO DOCUMENTATION for the free UML plugin, I have made a few mistakes. As in any program, I just delete the diagram and start over.

But wait . . .

What the *blip* happened to my code?! Search in the project folder, not there. It actually not only deletes the diagram, but searches for the location of the file in my harddrive and wipes it clean forever. BAD FEATURE!!! Could be a very simple resaon to look else where for other tools.

How do I get rid of this feature. With little documentation of how to use this tool, it makes it very cumbersome to always have to import classes everytime you want to delete a class diagram. What if the diagram is associated with say 100 CLASSES, very BAD FEATURE.

Please someone respond with insight to this solution.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

yes, deleting means really deleting. You have to use 'hide' instead if you want to remove a class from your diagram view.
