Hello everybody,

I'm a total newbie at this kind of thing, so here goes my question. I've downloaded the eclipseUML_E301_freeEdition_2.0.0.beta..jar. But what to do now, my PC keeps running WinRAR but where to put the files? It's probably a stupid question, but I would really like to work with Eclipse UML....

Regards,
Jethro

PS. I'm running Eclipse 3.01 on a W2K system.

Yes i tried that, but if I type it in my command line it still runs start running WinRAR. Perhaps I can associate jar.exe with .jar extensions inside my OS (Win 2K) but I don't know how to do that.

Hi,

If you double click on your jar file in a Windows explorer and your winrar is opened, you definitely experienced a windows file association extension issue.

Otherwise, if you try to run at the command line level :

Start->Run->cmd->OK

The java command and you can't, you experience a path resolution issue.

Anyway, you are beyond our support scope.

Either general windows or java questions.

Good Luck.
