I'm running EclipseUML on RedHat 8, and everything seems to work properly until I try to save a UML diagram via the "Save" button. Then I get an error dialog with the following message:

------------------

JVM terminated. Exit code=1
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2/bin/java
-cp /usr/java/eclipse/startup.jar org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main
-os linux
-ws gtk
-arch x86
-showsplash /usr/java/eclipse/eclipse -showsplash 600

------------------

Oddly, this only seems to happen when I hit the save button in the editor, not when the uml / refactoring wizards do an "auto-save".

Is this a bug, or is there something I haven't configured properly?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

You are using a beta of the newest JDK from Sun.

For the moment stick on the previous JDK, 1.4.1_02.

Anyway your report will be useful when we will qualify this JDK.

Regards.

hi there

i've exactly the same problem as described above ...
i'm running a debian unstable system, with blackdown java linux 1.4.1-01 (NOT exactly a beta one, juste the linux port of Sun JVM ...), and eclipse is always crashing when i try to save the an uml diagram ... your plugin is so cool, i'd like to save a diagram

would this problem be corrected if i upgraded to jvm 1.4.2 (which is new) ??

thanks for your answer
