Dear Sir,

I did not find spend a lot of time on documentation and try thoroughly using OMONDO. My first impression is that UML is very tightly connected to Java code.

My first question is : Is there any way deactivate the simultaneous generation of Java classes, Java package, ... when modeling types (class in sens of UML), associations, ...

Before OMONDO, I was using UML to first analyse a problem by making several diagrams (use case, activity, then class, sequence). Once this model is validated by others (clients, developpers, ...), I then generate the classes in source code, etc ...

Do you have any hint to help me working this way with OMONDO ?

Hello Fred,

Our tool is tightly integrated to Eclipse and java code. It is not possible to desactivate the code generation.
You can model and do what ever you want (just select in the preference menu - show status or not) and even with a wrong code, you diagram would be clean. The java code is generated, you can model and not use it.
