I am very new user of eclipse-UML and want to create class diagrams from existing classes. As per the documentation, we can do this by drag-drop of class. But in my project, i am unable to drag-drop the class itself. My classes are not compiled. Is it the reason?

You need in the Java perspective, not resource one.

I am trying to reverse engineer an existing application. I am able to get most of the classes in my class diagram, but a couple of the classes are missing. I have tried to drag and drop the class. I have also tried to use the insert selection from the right-click menu. The class has not appear using either of these methods. I am in the Java perspective. Why is this class not appearing?

We have figured out what is wrong. It is a bug of JDT. The fix is integrated in M6. The build for Eclipse 2.1.2 will be available soon.
