hello,
I am using EclipseUML EE. Today I tried to create a deployment diagram but ran into some trouble.
I was able to create nodes and components but if I tried to wire a node with a component using a dependency, the dependency line end always points into the void. That means I am unable to wire a node A with a component B. Additionally if I try to wire two nodes using a association nothing happens (no visual line and no indication that the diagram was modified).
The worst thing finally is that after a couple of diagram modification (adding or removing of elements), the diagram becomes unusable, which means that you can't open the diagram any more because of an error message.
The error message reads:
load error: platform:/resource/importal-dev/src/java/importal-deployment.udd
constraints:
- I am using eclipse 2.1.2
- I am using J2SE version 1.4.2
- I did assigned a package to the deployment diagram
- I am able to create other diagrams (e.g. activity diagrams o. class diagrams)
regards
