I am looking for information on how to create an Instance Diagram in the Eclipse-UML environment. Below is a brief description of dilema.
Whenever I try to create an instance in a UML Object Diagram (also known as UML Instance Diagram), I get a "New Instance" window that allows me to enter a "Name" and "State" and select "Active" and "Multiple Instances" checkboxes, but it seems as if other necessary interface fields are expecting something that is not there.
The "Field Values" section is blank and the "Add" button opens a blank "Add a Field" window where the "Fields" drop-down list box is empty. Selecting the "Browse" button opens a blank "Object Class Selection" window.
Obviously either some other diagram needs to be created first or there is an additional installation or setup process that I need to run. Has anyone out there had success creating Instance Diagrams or does anyone have any information that can help me solve this problem?
Thank you,
Patricia
