Hello,

I am a student at UQAC, a Canadian university. We got an academic licence for EclipseUML Studio recently. The licence was attached to an email that Omondo sent to my teacher. I copied the .licence[1] file in the appropriate directory, as it was specified, i.e. : C:\eclipse\plugins\com.omondo.uml.core_1.6.0

Unfortunately, when I launch EclipseUML, it is written on the splash screen that I am still licenced for a trial version, since it is valid until Sept. 19. When I tried EclipseUML Studio's features : to export an UML diagram, to open it as an EMF XMI, to print it, and so on, all seems disabled. Indeed, I got this message : "This feature is not available for evaluation."

I attempted to uninstall Eclipse and EclipseUML, with the uninstaller, and reinstall these programs, but I can't get rid of this problem.

What should I do ?

Regards,

Nicolas

I had the same trouble and resolved it by deleting the "eval.license" file and renaming my academic license file to "eval.license". After a restart of Eclipse my Evaluation License change to Academic.

Keep in mind that as far as I know academic licenses work only on computers with an IP in the IP range of the university the license was issued to.

greetings,

Toran

I also had the same problem. The day I installed a fresh Eclipse with some plugins everything works fine. At the following day I got the message:"No license.." from Omondo-Plugin.

After renaming the .license file to eval.license - thanks Toran - and restart of eclipse it works fine again.

Regards,

Volker
