This will be really useful feature. In fact for eclipse UML to survive, it must support basic export features, I mean to export it to MS Word, save it as jpeg format so that can be used in html and stuff.
Otherwise bye bye to Eclipse UML, at least from our organisation, any way.
Thanks, sorry about honest openion and comment.

Hi, I am sorry but, how can we export diagram in graphic format? I could not figure out.
another point is word is prabably the most common application people use it for documentation and I would say uml diagram in documentation is the second most usage after code generation. So I would say it will be nice to have that feature in uml.
Anyway, please let me know how to export uml diagram as jpeg or something.
Thanks
Nilesh

A new wizard export via File->Export is added in 0.8.5 enterprise edition. It is possible to select all diagrams and export them in one shut.

I have a similar question, but mine is how can one export a UML diagram/model to an EMF/ECore model, and vice-versa? I am developing tools to export our C++ class models to Eclipse and it is simple to do if I export to an EMF model, but a lot of work has already been done in developing new models in UML instead of EMF. We would like to import our ecore files into the uml repository, and possibly the other way as well. Does anyone have any idea how (or if) that can be done?
Thanks,
Bill Boyle
