Hi Omondo team,
I use Omondov119 with Eclipse v202 and it seems not possible to do control of coherence during modelling UML phase. For example with Omondo it is possible to create cyclic relation beetwen 2 packages or 2 classes without any warning or error message from Omondo.
Do you plan to modify this behaviour ?
Best regards

Hi,
You can do with EclipseUML, exactly what you can do in Java.
Anyway, give us more details about the control we could put on EclipseUML.
You can use this forum to post some code sample who illustrates your opinion.
I mean Java Code. As we can easily reverse it in a Class Diagram.
Regards.

Hi,
I send you a zip file project to illustrate my last mail about ob of coherence.
As you will see, I created 2 kind of diagram (use case and class diagram).
I just want to show you that with Omondo it is possible to create cyclic relation between :
-actor (through inheritance relations)
-use case (through extend and include dependancies)
-package (through dependancies)
I think plug in Omondo has to warn/to produce error when such of model are built.
But perhaps there s an option in Omonodo which permit to activate control of coherence ?
Regards,
My context is:
Eclipse v202
Omondo v119

Yes, you are right. It is our first step to implement the dependency. The more advanced control of coherence like cycle dependency comes out later as an option.
